La Trobe African Society was formed to provide a platform in which all Africans at La Trobe University and beyond can be connected with one another as well as showcasing and educating the wider community about African culture and heritage.

Over the years we’ve provided students with a safe space, an environment in which they can come to enjoy themselves through various events and activities allowing students to take a break from the stresses of university and socialise with like-minded individuals.
